Al Cocorochio and Black Rose Records 20th Anniversary
By Peter Cahill

Congratulations to Al Cocorochio and Black Rose Records, that little old record company from Saugus, which will be celebrating their 20th Anniversary this year.  To commemorate the event Black Rose is just putting the final touches on its 20th Anniversary CD, which should be out in time for the party at Johnny D’s on Wednesday, June 28, and 9 pm.  This should be a great time.  Some of the artists featured on Black Rose are Big Bill’s Band, Cub Coda, Liz Lannon Band, The New Hawks, Maynard Silva, Tommy Hambridge, and the late Brewer Phillips and J.B. Hutto.  We are guaranteed a great show as most of the artists have been invited to play that evening, schedules permitting.  I know for a fact the “Silvertone” Steve will be there and he’s well worth the price of admission.  So go out and support this “worthwild” venture and say “Hi!” to Al.
