Of course, everybody has heard of the J. Geils Band. I got a call from Danny Klein at my house and I was in shock. He sent me this project that he wanted to shop out to a label. I really enjoyed it and was amazed on how well it was put together, so I called Danny back and made arrangements to meet him and his wife in Boston. We talked back and forth for a while, and a week or two later, he called me and said that he wanted to join the Black Rose label. He said that his wife had a good intuition on the whole thing and appreciated my honesty. So we put it out and that was it. Danny and I still remain friends to this day and he still plays everywhere doing his own thing. I always considered myself lucky to have recorded this band. Every one of the musicians are so talented.
